Aigle-Châtel the Portes du Soleil (192.9 km) ASO:

The mock start will be given at 12:30pm, with the actual stage start at the end of the parade, which will be given at 12:45pm.

Cedric Vasser (Cofidis Team Manager) prediction…

“Why not Ion Isagirre, from home?” It’s a day in the mountains and he’s won the toughest stage of the Basque country. We know our leader Guillaume Martin doesn’t have much freedom as he is only three minutes behind in the overall. The peloton won’t let him go too far and I think given the way it’s been over the last few days, there’s little chance the breakaway will be playing for the win before the weekend, and Ion is our best bet.”

The course should not be missed.

Chillon Castle, a 12th-century castle floating on Lake Geneva, Switzerland’s splendor. An attraction inspired by exhibitions and cultural events, according to the castle’s website, it is listed as the most visited historical monument in Switzerland. The tour will pass in front of the fortress at 13:00e kilometer. Lovers of fine mechanics would rather go the route of the Hervé Foundation and its ultra-rare vintage car jewelry.

The profession of investing your teeth.

The cheese with potatoes, leeks and sausage is a must. The origin of cabbage sausage dates back to 879. The dish is usually eaten from mid-September to April, but this summer you can make an exception to the rule. At Châtel les Portes du Soleil, order Berthoud, a dish from Haut-Savoyard based on the exceptional cheese Abondance. A glass of good white wine to accompany.

Phrase of the day: Roll up the rug

Means the runner puts himself in front of his leader to protect him and set a good pace.

For example: “No question of tempting the devil today guys, we’re just rolling out the carpet for Polo today.”
