Lawyers Raul Noblecilla and Ronald Atencio, who legally defended Pedro Castillo, stepped down this Monday to represent the former president in the lawsuits he has for his failed coup d’état. Both lawyers did not explain the details of what happened.
“After speaking with our sponsored Pedro José Castillo Terrones, it was jointly decided that we will not continue to protect him, leaving behind the reasons for this,” the document, signed by both specialists, reads.
