President of the Republic Pedro Castillo announced on Monday that Colombia would support the country in natural gas massification.
“A few days ago I was talking to my brother [Gustavo] Petro, and he will give us a very important foothold so that the most populous Latin American country like Colombia can share with us his experience of involving organizations, people and all authorities in this good, ”he said.
The President today visited the Agno Nuevo Center for Comprehensive Development of the Family (CEDIF) in the Comas district, where he took part in the ceremony for installation of connection to natural gas one and a half million in Lima and Callao.
“Resources from Peru should be for the Peruvians”
Pedro Castillo argued that the country’s resources “should be for the Peruvians” and that it was necessary to extend the connection of natural gas to the entire territory of the country.
“How can you not feel happy, happy to see a child that sits here and has guaranteed food as a result of the natural gas massification, Peru’s resources must be for the Peruvians, and this is done by a joint effort between the individual and the State, but things are going well,” – he said.
President Castillo was accompanied to the event by the Minister of Labor and Employment Promotion, Alejandro Salas; Energy and Mines Minister Alessandra Herrera and Inabif Director Hernan Yaipen.
