Political organizations and candidates who will run in the 2022 regional and municipal elections have signed Pact of Electoral Ethics (PEE) in each of the 24 regions of the country, as well as in the constitutional province of Callao, thanks to the steps taken National Electoral Jury (JNE).
The signatories (representatives of political parties and regional movements) have committed themselves to developing an election campaign that is dominated by the presentation of their government’s plans and program proposals in an atmosphere of respect and tolerance, thus contributing to the emission of responsible and informed.
Similarly, they agreed to abide by the provisions relating to the electoral law (election campaign, public advertising); and not to create, promote or disseminate disinformation or manipulation campaigns that violate the legitimacy of the electoral process, among other obligations.
