Only 22.6% of the population supports the leadership of the president Peter’s castle in his first year in office compared to 71.1% who disapprove. The CPI survey, presented exclusively in RPP News shows that in Lima and Callao the rejection reaches 80%, while their support is barely 14.5% in this sector of the country.
Despite this, the poll shows that between June and August, the disapproval rate dropped from 75% to 71.1%; however, it maintains a trend above the 70% that started to register since March of this year. On the other hand, his approval has risen from 19.5% to 22.6% in the same period he is recovering from the fall he suffered in June.

For Congress of the Republic, the poll shows that nationally only 6.5% approve of his leadership compared to 87.9% who disapprove. In terms of bounces, the rate increased by 1.4% compared to June and by 4.3% compared to April. At the same time, support fell sharply compared to April, when the figure was 12.7%.

On the other hand, the CPI study shows that, on average, for 54.2%, the achievements or successes of this government mentioned by the president are false. Peter’s castle in his message to the nation before the Congress of the Republic on July 28, compared to 28.7% who believe that what the president said is true.
Thus, almost half of the respondents (49.5%) do not believe “anything” in the president’s promises and proposals. Peter’s castle on public holidays, and 35.6% believe “a little” and 10.2% believe “a lot” on the word of the head of state. For example, an overwhelming 78.4% consider it “false” that government poverty has decreased in this first year.
Given the current circumstances faced by the President Peter’s castle, 67.2% believe that the President will not be able to complete his presidential term, compared to 24% who think the opposite. With regard to the management of the executive branch, one of the most discussed issues is the possibility of hiring young people in brigades that support the police.
Data sheet: The national CPI survey was conducted from 3 to 10 August among 1,200 people. The study has a margin of error of +/- 2.8% with a confidence level of 95.5%.
