Last week, Bruno Pacheco surrendered to justice and testified before the prosecutor’s office that he allegedly received illegal payments both for himself and for the head of state in exchange for the appointment of Hugo Chávez Arevalo as head of Petroperú.
According to Panorama, Bruno Pacheco stated that the money came from Fermin Silva, Chotano and owner of the La Luz clinic, very close to the government Peter’s castle and who wanted Chavez Arevalo to enter Petropera.
The amount will be 15,000 soles for Pacheco and 30,000 soles for the head of state, according to the testimony of Pacheco, who today lives in a house guarded by a government ministry. All this, always according to a journalistic note, to guarantee the appointment of Hugo Chávez, who finally resigned after a few months.
Pacheco will testify if he is promoted to the military.
Bruno Pacheco is due to give his statement this Wednesday, August 3, as part of the preliminary investigation being carried out with the head of state, Pedro Castillo, over his government’s alleged interference with the promotion process of officers of the Armed Forces and the National Police of Peru in 2021.
This was ordered by the country’s prosecutor, Patricia Benavidez, who is investigating the president; former Secretary of Defense Walter Ayala; Bruno Pacheco and those responsible for the alleged crimes of the criminal organization and trading in influence to the detriment of the state as a result of this case.
Bruno Pacheco is currently under house arrest issued by Judge Manuel Chuyo Zavaleta.

Pedro Castillo will sue the program for reporting
President Pedro Castillo spoke after the broadcast of the report Panorama and assured that he would denounce the program, pointing out that they only spread false news.
“I categorically reject the false accusations made by the Panorama program, pointing out that he would have received a “reward” of 30,000 soles. In honor of journalistic truth, I demand a serious investigation to clarify this lie, ”the president wrote on his Twitter account.
“In exercising my right as a citizen and as President of the Republic, I will proceed to denounce these journalistic products that spread false news, the sole purpose of which is to deceive and manipulate citizens,” the President added.
