Mesias Guevara Maria del Carmen Alva: “If you want to wear the presidential belt, do it through the general election”

President of Popular Action, Messiah Guevaraharshly criticized the head of Congress, Maria del Carmen Alvaand accused her of doing “great damage” to the party by “making it look like a coup”.

Using his Twitter account, the regional governor of Cajamarca also considered that if Alva Prieto “wants to wear the presidential sash”, he should run in the general election rather than promote the vacancy of President Pedro Castillo.

Messiah Guevara reacted in this way to the statements of Maria del Carmen Alva during the swearing-in ceremony of the National Executive Committee People’s Action.

In particular, the deputy reproached Messiah Guevara and Yoni Lezcano, a former presidential candidate, for “attacks” by both politicians on her leadership as President of the Legislative Assembly.

“Dirty linen is washed at home. And when someone disagrees with something, we talk to each other, but we can’t take it out into the street,” he said. And he remarked: “Who does not agree, the doors are open to him to leave.”
