Biden Expects ‘Mini Revolution’ With Many Politicians Voting If SCOTUS Overthrows Roe –

President Joe Biden predicted on Wednesday that there would be a “mini-revolution” in which many politicians would resign if the Supreme Court removes the right to abortion.

“There are some issues at stake when we talk about removing Rowe Wade,” Biden told Jimmy Kimmel Live, referring to the landmark decision in 1973. “It’s just ridiculous in my opinion. . “

Biden said he expects the country to respond if the decision is made by Dobbs v. In the case of the Jackson Women’s Health Organization, this is consistent with most of the opinion flight. This project, Published by Politico, Cancels Ross and the subsequent abortion case, Planned Parenthood v. Casey: Allows for states to strictly restrict or directly ban the procedure.

“I don’t think the country will support that,” Biden told presenter Jimmy Kimmel in an interview, which was his first appearance in the studio as president.

In the leaked draft, Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito argued that the issue of abortion should be returned to the states, many of which have already moved to restrict access.

“Rowe was very wrong in the beginning,” Alito wrote in the draft. “We believe Roe and Casey should be abolished … It’s time to focus on the constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.”

The president said his administration is considering whether it can issue an executive order on abortion rights.

“Obviously if a decision is actually made like this, and these states impose the restrictions they are talking about, it will lead to a mini-revolution and they will vote to expel many of these people.” – said Biden.

Biden also called on people to stand up and vote to make their voices heard.

“You have to vote, let people know exactly what you think about the devil,” he said.

Kimmel also asked Biden if he was considering issuing a firearms executive order following several recent mass shootings, including after the massacre in the Texas town of Walde, in which a gunman killed 19 students and two teachers.

“I have been given executive orders by the president to be able to deal with everything related to weapons and possession of weapons … with everything in my power,” Biden said.

“What I don’t want to do – and I’m not pretending – I don’t want to emulate Trump’s abuse of the constitution and constitutional powers,” he said.
