Non-Group MP Carlos Anderson asked the government to create National Infrastructure Administrationbecause he thought it was makeup for Authorization for reconstruction with changesin the midst of a crisis that the north of the country is experiencing due to rains.
As considered in Everything is known From RPP Noticias, the country needs the Ministry of Development and Public Works, so that it is responsible for the entire cycle of works, and not just for their implementation. In this sense, he criticized that the announcement of the creation of the National Reconstruction Authority comes in the midst of a rain emergency, as he considered it a hasty decision.
“The truth is that this new National Infrastructure Administration it’s basically a makeover that’s already in place from the Reconstruction Authority with changes, although they’re going to increase some features etc,” he said.
“This is a sub-optimal solution compared to what should have been done in Peru long ago, the creation of the Ministry of Development and Public Works, which really sees the whole cycle, not only the implementation of infrastructure, oversees it, etc., but also be present from the very start public investment projects, accompany the implementation and then monitor these public investments,” he added.
“In the midst of a flood, it doesn’t make sense, because it diverts effort, diverts resources, diverts attention, which should be focused exactly where the trouble is, and decide to give relief to, say, people who are really drowning not only because of the rains, but and because of everything else, because it ended the lifestyle of many people,” he said.
Cabinet of Changes
Anderson also felt that it was time for the presidency Dina Boluarte make changes to your Cabinet of Ministersbecause he did not show any political or performance qualities in the face of crisis situations that the country has experienced in recent months.
“I’ve been calling for something to move for a long time because the status quo doesn’t help anyone. Mrs. Boluart should have thought a long time ago, well, she doesn’t want to give up, so at least freshen it up. Cabinet which, obviously, is not very political and not very executive,” he said.
“It seems so, when it is so clear that the one who rules the issues is the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, it distorts the role of the president and the truth is that mistakes of a different nature are made here, the intervention of ministers in issues in which they should not interfere, political mistakes, as well as sensitivity, if everyone gets their feet wet, why should they make special demands on me, that is, things that once again alienate citizens from their power, ”he said.
