Arequipa Regional Governor and President of the National Assembly of Regional Governments (ANGR) Rogel Sanchez announced this Wednesday the holding of a regional state council on May 4 and 5 to determine the work of the three levels of government.
IN News extension, Rochel Sanchez He noted that regional governors facilitated this event, formerly called Executive GORE, in a meeting with Council of Ministers Chairman Alberto Otarola.
“Yesterday we developed the meeting and agreed to change the name, in particular, we said that the name does not matter, we were interested in promoting the meeting, and it was decided that this meeting, which we are going to hold on May 4 and 5, will be called the Regional State Council focused on clearly articulated work that needs to be done with the three levels of government: central, regional and local governments, in this perspective, some issues have been resolved that should be polished next week,” he said.
Rochel Sanchez pointed out that at the meeting with the prime minister, some issues were considered that “should be polished next week” by the akims of the regions and the executive power, which will take part in the regional state council.
“And then we can solve the accompanying problems, like: what are we going to do between the three levels of government regarding disaster prevention?” he said.
