Pedro Cateriano: “This is the right time to expose the corruption of Parliament”

Former Chairman of the Council of Ministers Peter Cateriano On Tuesday, he urged workers in Congress who have denounced pay cuts to take advantage of effective collaboration.

“This is the right moment to expose the corruption of the parliament. The country cannot continue to live with this class of congressmen who come as representatives of the people to enrich themselves or commit acts of corruption,” he said in a News Extension.

For Peter Cateriano, workers who “were forced to give money to congressmen” should be compensated by Parliament for “the harm caused to them.” In recent weeks, MPs Magali Ruiz (Alliance for Progress), Rocío Torres (Alliance for Progress), Cathy Ugarte (not in the group) and Heidi Juarez (Podemos) have been accused of cutting wages for workers in their offices.
