HOUSTON (AP) – Two people were killed and three others were taken to the hospital injured Sunday after being shot at a thriving Houston flea market, authorities said.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the open-air shooting in the marketplace was the result of a “dispute” involving at least two gunmen and five people. According to him, the “innocent bystanders” were not hurt.
Investigators believe one of them was hospitalized by the shooters and arrested two other suspects at the scene, the deputy sheriff said. KTRK-TV.

Thousands of people thronged the market 14 miles (22 kilometers) north of downtown Houston when the hunt began around 1pm Sunday, Gonzalez said on Twitter.
The sheriff said several shots were fired and lawmakers removed two guns at the scene. Authorities did not immediately provide further information on what caused the shooting, but said all participants were men in their 20s who appeared to know each other.
