Eric Reed, the coach of Rich Strike, the Kentucky Derby strike winner, appeared to evade ESPN questions Wednesday in a destructive tweet he allegedly wrote to Vice President Kamala Harris.
Reed was accused of sexist abuse in a Twitter response to former Trump adviser Sebastian Gorka. The New York Post report.
Gorka asked on social media in January: “So what is Kamala’s qualification?” To which the account, which appears to be linked to Reed, replied: “I heard he’s well on his knees !!”
In an interview with ESPN’s “Outside the Lines,” Reed avoided asking about the tweet, neither confirming nor denying that it was his.
“I didn’t see anything about it,” Reed told the John Barr sports network.
“You didn’t say that. I don’t know what’s going on there. I’m more interested in Ritchie and what happens to us, this wonderful horse and how much he helps everyone. “So there are haters out there, and that’s how I leave something like that.”
Eric Reed’s account, who tweeted @ daddyrabbit1964, says it belongs to Reed, the owner of the Mercury Horse Center. Also note that the account holder is a “horse trainer” and a “Reagan conservative”. It’s set in person.
HuffPost was not immediately heard of by the Horse Center.
