President of the Republic Dina Boluarte, He indicated that Peru would be able to overcome and emerge from the current socio-political crisis stronger in the context of social demonstrations against his government.
“I have the deepest conviction that Peru will overcome this situation and become stronger.”, – he said during a presentation at the ceremony of transferring the chairmanship of the new board of directors for 2023 – 2025 of the National Confederation of Private Business Institutions (trust).
“In this short time, as our compatriots testify, we have faced an agitated and difficult situation, which includes fair social and economic demands (no doubt). But also actions motivated by political interests, in order to undermine institutionalism and overthrow the constitutional order”, indicated Dina Boluarte.
In this context, he argued that within the framework of democracy and Law supremacy, its leadership “faces challenges” and “fulfills the legitimate demands of citizens.” He added that his government “has acted and will continue to act within the rule of law, staunchly defending the institutional framework and guaranteeing the fundamental freedoms of 33 million Peruvians.” “This is the first commitment that I ratified today,” he said.
