Congress President, Jose Williams Zapataannounced that he had appointed Javier Angeleswho held a position in the Parliamentary General Office as the new senior official of the Legislative Assembly after the resignation of José Chevasco in connection with journalists’ complaints about the excessive costs of buying carpets, LED screens and paying for an exclusive establishment.
In statements to the press, he clarified that, perhaps, on Monday, March 6, the board of directors of parliament will formalize the appointment.
