Congressional Commission on Economics and Decentralization approved this Wednesday the opinion according to which the executive branch is vested with the power to pass laws on measures aimed at promoting economic reactivation and modernizing the administration of the state.
Debate and voting took place at a joint meeting of both parliamentary groups, which was also attended by representatives of the IEF. legislators rosangela barbarian (FP) and Diana Gonzalez (Avanza País), presidents of the economics and decentralization groups, respectively, supported the content of the text.

The executive branch can also exempt imports of goods from taxes for the implementation of the electric train project for Lima and Callao.
Dina Boluarte starts a dialogue
President Dina Boluarte called the leaders of political parties this Wednesday to “resolve the political and social crisis that the country is going through” at the Government Palace, the administration said on social media.
They added that the meeting also aims to “promote a space for dialogue and consensus” regarding the social and political situation that the country is experiencing in the national context and the international vision of this panorama.
