The Bishops’ Conference of Peru (CEP) has published an “open letter” addressed to Congress of the Republic regarding the progress of the general elections, which yesterday, Thursday, did not reach a consensus among the parliamentary benches.
Considering this, CEP asked the national representation to remember its “commitment and responsibility” to the population and listen to its “fair claims Social”.
“Our brethren from all over Peru, whose representatives you are in Congressthey ask them questions. Do they know you? Have you heard their demands? Peruvians must be heard in their just social demands,” the letter says.
