Special Attorney in the Lavo Jato case, he asked the judiciary to decide on the merger of four companies as “third party liability” in a criminal trial followed by former President Martín Vizcarra for alleged acts of corruption while serving as regional governor of Moquegua.

These companies are Obras e Ingeniería SA – Obrainsa, Ingenieros Civiles y Contratistas Generales SAC – ICCGSA, Astaldi SA and Incont Contratistas Generales S.AC., which, for the legal defense of the Peruvian State, will be linked to the facts that are the subject of the investigation. by the fact that they must take upon themselves the payment of a possible civil indemnity, which can be imposed on Martin Vizcarra in favor of the state in case the ex-president cannot cover it with his property.

Due to this Judge Margarita Salcedo admitted to the processing of the Ad Hoc prosecutor’s request and decided to forward this request to other procedural parties so that they familiarize themselves with its contents and submit their respective objections. Congress approved a report recommending constitutional indictment of Martin Vizcarra.

With 13 votes in favor and one abstention, a parliamentary working group chaired by Fujimori MP Hector Ventura approved a report recommending that the ex-president be constitutionally charged with an alleged crime against public administration.

“We have the final report of the investigation that the plenum of Congress has entrusted to us regarding the alleged illegal activities mentioned in agenda proposal 370. This is an investigation into all facts related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the public health emergency. from the entry into force of Supreme Decree 008-2020-SA until July 26, 2021,” Héctor Ventura said at the time.
