Edwin Martinez pointed out that there is a possibility that these four processes will lead to urea have been rigged in favor of certain groups or due to lack of opportunity.

“There are four failed tenders, motivated by two aspects: because they were falsified or were printed by incompetent people who could not work out the process well. There is a chain of incompetence or corruption because it cannot be dropped so easily. Or they directed everything so that friends won, otherwise they had no opportunity, ”he said.

As a solution, the parliamentarian pointed to the proposal of interstate purchase of urea. This is done in order to avoid repeating a tender that did not work.

“Redirect the process no longer with tender but with direct state-to-state procurement and ignore all these bureaucratic issues that ultimately have consequences for agriculture because you cannot get this fertilizer at the right time for planting or at the right time. time. , the time for which products must be paid for,” he said.

Possible protests in the country

Congressman Edwin Martinez warned that there are leaders in the regions seeking to provoke violent protests against Dina Boluarte’s government in the coming days. In this sense, the parliamentarian confirmed that he had conveyed information to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Defense about these possible mobilizations.

“There are many leaders who are calling on the population to march again, but they do not mean peaceful mobilization, but violent protest. Something that will cause great economic and social damage to the country, so the authorities should accept letters on this issue.
