“Given the events that have taken place in various regions of the country in connection with public speeches, the military police prosecutor’s office, in the performance of its functions, will conduct appropriate investigations against the military personnel of the Armed Forces and the National Police. The persons responsible for committing crimes are functioning,” he said.
The FMP statement states that service crime “is any unlawful conduct committed by a military or police officer in an activity that violates the legal rights associated with the existence, organization, operation or functioning of the armed forces and the national police of Peru.”
finally FMP He “deeply regrets the deaths of citizens during social protests and rejects any act of violence affecting the lives and rights of all Peruvians,” he said.
What Dina Boluarte said
It should be remembered that the President Dina Boluarte met with the head of the Joint Command of the Armed Forces to investigate the deaths of people that occurred during protests in various regions of the country.
“The prosecutor’s office has already intervened, they are conducting appropriate investigations. Before coming here to your office, I met with the head of the Command (Unification) of the Armed Forces, with whom we spoke so that (the death) could be investigated in military jurisdiction. I believe that no death is acceptable, and by the way, the death of people in the midst of this violence hurts me,” he told the Sunday newspaper. Fourth Power.
