Oscar Manuel Becerra Tresierra this morning he was sworn in as the new Minister of Education in the second Cabinet appointed by President Dina Boluarte. calf Thus, he replaces Patricia Correa Arangoitia, who resigned due to the death of protesters in various regions of Peru, who demanded the resignation of the head of state and the closure of the Congress.
Becerra Tresierra joins a cabinet led by Prime Minister Alberto Otarola, who until a few hours ago was head of the defense ministry.
Minister Becerra degree in physics from the National University of Engineering (UNI) and holds a master’s degree in computer and educational technology from the University of Hartford and the USMP. He also holds a degree in Business Administration from ESAN University and a PhD in Psychology and later worked as a Research Professor at the University of San Martin de Porres.
The new head of Minedu acted Director of Educational Technology, Ministry of Education worked as an international consultant and speaker on information and communication technologies in education. Previously, he was Academic Director of the University of San Ignacio de Loyola and Educational Segment Manager for IBM Latin America.
