Jeliane Riedigera hair expert, talked about the best bun styles and how to make one that stands out.
“Buns are the new fashion of the moment, celebrities are using them more and more, while me and the hair adds to the used look”, said.
She also said that a bun can have barrettes and fasteners and that they are essential, whether for luxurious or relaxed moments.
Messy bun: Also known as a messy bun, it’s ideal for those relaxed moments, in which the strands are intentionally misaligned.
Double Bun: Popularly called in Brazil a double bun, it is perfect to be used in the summer. The style consists of two buns either on the top or bottom of the head.
Bun with Braid: Famous for its versatility, the braid can be placed anywhere on the look, whether it’s high or low on the head, even as an inverted braid. Much used in weddings and graduations, it is a good choice for luxury environments.
Donut Bun: Done on top of the head, it can be performed in many ways, either with an elastic band or with a sock. The donut bun is also democratic as it can be done on all hair types and looks good on any occasion.
Curly Bun: As the name itself says, this bun is essential for those who have curly hair, in it the strands are not stretched, so the wavy hair is more valued.
