The famous pianist Darius Mazhyntas visited Izyum, Kharkiv region, which was liberated from the Russian invaders. This was reported by the All-Ukrainian Democratic Forum on Facebook.
It has already been mentioned that on Kremenets Hill, where all the destruction left by the invaders can be seen, the musician performed the works of the Naive Music cycle of the Ukrainian composer Valentin Silvestrov.
“With the outbreak of the war, I became more interested in Ukrainian culture, so I discovered Sylvestrov. His music embodies all of Ukraine, its nature and people,” he said.
It is also known that the artist arrived in Izyum and spent the night with the team in an old cellar, which during the battle was a shelter for more than 60 residents of the city.
Earlier it was reported that Kolya Serga reacted to the destruction of patriotic graffiti in Izyum.
