The first lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, has told how she and Ukrainians have been changed by a massive war and blackouts in the country. He spoke about it in an interview with the BBC.
The wife of the Ukrainian president said that these difficulties taught everyone to live in the here and now.
“We’ve been through so many trials that a blackout was definitely not the worst thing that happened. We learned to live without postponing anything for later, do what is needed here and now. I really believe in what psychologists call post -traumatic growth. This is when we come out stronger. We have definitely changed and become tempered,” said the first lady.
He also emphasized that the results of sociological surveys indicate that the majority of Ukrainians are ready to endure the lack of light and other benefits of civilization for the sake of their future. That is, for the sake of success, membership in the democratic family of the European Union and personal dignity.
