King Charles III gives his first speech as a monarch to a foreign leader.

A solemn banquet was held at Buckingham Palace on the occasion of the state visit of the President of the Republic of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, to the UK. It was the first such event presided over by the new King of Great Britain, Charles III.

Queen Consort Camilla and the Prince and Princess of Wales took part in the event.

Camilla, in her image, honored the memory of the late Queen Elizabeth. The queen consort wore a sapphire tiara, which Elizabeth II usually wears for solemn meetings. Before this, the tiara belonged to her father, King George VI.

Camilla completed her look with a purple dress and a ribbon pendant with a portrait of the late monarch.

Kate Middleton chose a white evening dress embroidered with precious stones by designer Jenny Peckham.

The Princess of Wales completed her look with a tiara called the Knots of Love, also called the Cambridge tiara. Accessory with pearls and diamonds that Kate inherited from Diana, Princess of Wales.
