The actor said that the thought came after the end of the soap opera rebelsin 2011, but after being approved to play José Alfredo in the first phase of Empirefrom 2014, decided to give himself another chance.
“I thought about giving up for a while, back in 2013, but the profession called me back through the invitation to take the test for Império”, said.
“At that moment, after Rebelde, I needed to understand some things: what I really wanted to do or not”, explained.
“When I joined Rebelde, the world was different. Since then, a lot has changed, the internet was different, the type of exposure was different”said.
As much as he has been in the spotlight for years, Chay said he feels bad about the few attacks he receives on the web.
