Russians with uncertain positions on the war in Ukraine have been detained at passport control and have had their Schengen visas cancelled.
In Belgium, the leader of the Russian group Intourist Yevgeny Gorbunov and saxophonist Sergei Khramtsevich were detained. This was reported by RosSMI.
It was mentioned that the musicians were going to perform at the Fifty Lab Festival, but they were detained at passport control, and then taken to a special room for illegal border crossing. Subsequently, they canceled their Schengen visas, which the country stopped issuing for residents of the Russian Federation in September.
It was also reported that all equipment was taken from Gorbunov and Khramtsevich and kept in a pre-trial detention center, where they will remain until November 20.
It was previously reported that the Russian band Little Big, which condemned the war in Ukraine, celebrated their performances in Poland.
