The right to charge follows a review of evidence, collected by the Metropolitan Police during the investigation,” said Rosemary Ainsley, head of the Special Crime Squad.
In addition, the celebrity has been accused of a series of sexual assaults on three men in London and Gloucestershire between 2005 and 2013, when he was artistic director of the Old Vic Theatre.
