The journalist noted that Zelensky is in great danger when it comes to settlements located near the front line.

The host of the programs World Inside Out and Mandruy Ukraina Dmitry Komarov, who arrived in liberated Kherson, was under enemy fire. He announced it on his Instagram.

It was noted that after the de-occupation of the city, he went there when Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived. Arriving at the central square, where the meeting with the commander-in-chief took place, the journalist admitted that he did not leave the thought that the invaders might attack Kherson.

“In the area, I spoke with the military and the police. The unanimous opinion is a bold and dangerous step, and at the same time it is incredibly important. It is support. People are at work for more than 8 month,” wrote the journalist.

After the press conference, Dmitry Komarov went to the Antonovsky Bridge, where he spoke with one of the families, but after a while he caught fire.

“In Ukraine, the president went out into the crowd in a city where artillery was coming from hostile positions. I was personally convinced of the danger. After the press conference, we drove to the Antonovsky bridge and went under a bullet. I spoke to a family living near the bridge. The walls were shaking. Glass flew. We jumped into the street and hid with the children behind the wall opposite the Dnieper. Many more came and were captured there (judging by the sound – a mortar). We were under fire two hours after the president’s visit,” he shared.
