Muse won the Rock category and performed a song from their ninth album of the same name, released in August.
The British rock band Muse at the award ceremony of the prestigious MTV Europe Music Awards 2022 expressed their support for the Ukrainian people. The corresponding video was posted on Instagram.
In particular, the artists performed the song Will Of The People, and then from the stage, holding the award in their hands, dedicated it to the Ukrainians, who are experiencing a full-scale invasion from Russia.
“We want to dedicate this award to the Ukrainians and women of Iran who are fighting for victory. Since we are celebrating victory here today, of course I am grateful, you are the best friends in the world. We love you very much! ” – said by the band’s frontman Matthew Belamy.
