Russian artists released a song calling on them to go to war and kill Ukrainians.
Ukrainian director Alan Badoev turned to Russian artists who recorded the song Let’s Get Up, where they called their fans to go to war in Ukraine and “defend” their homeland. He announced it on Instagram.
In particular, the creator of the clip reminded artists who support the Putin regime that they should be responsible to their listeners and viewers.
“Well, if you are such artists, if you are such patriots, what is patriotism? Shouldn’t you protect and guide your people, your listeners, those who love you, those who believe in you? What kind what song are you singing, artists? You sing “get up and die”, you sing “get up and kill”. It’s ironic! You paint your last years of life, and some last years of glory, under the call to die and kill, “he said.
It is known that such performers as Nadezhda Babkina, Nikolai Baskov, Oleg Gazmanov, Victoria Daineko, Larisa Dolina, Zara, Sergey Lazarev, Grigory Leps, Stas Mikhailov and others participated in the video. Therefore, Alan Badoev said that he was ashamed to work with many of them.
“I’m sorry that I once worked with many of you. The ones on this kill range,” the director summed up.
Earlier it was reported that Alan Badoev showed the trailer of the documentary Dovga doba, which tells about the whole war in Ukraine.
Badoev spoke about Russian artists pacifying the war
