The newlyweds spoke about how an important event in his life passed and turned to Ukrainians with a question.
The husband of ex-editor-in-chief of Dozhd TV channel Mikhail Zygar, Jean-Michel Shcherbak, showed a photo from the wedding. He posted the photos on Instagram.
“After I posted the first post with a declaration of love for myself and Mikhail, I experienced a rebirth. I got rid of a huge burden that was very difficult to carry. Lies and belittlement drain energy. If I know how good it is now, I wouldn’t have tortured myself then,” said Shcherbak.
He admitted that the past week was full of events and meetings with loved ones.
“Happy marriage registration in Setúbal, then bachelor parties with friends and girlfriends from different countries, then the wedding day. It seems like it took at least a month. to the best person in the world the guilt has arrived. I am in an incredible feeling of euphoria against the backdrop of how my country continues to attack the sovereign Ukraine, bomb the residence and other houses with drones and leave the Ukrainians without heat, lighting and communication. Nothing is finished,” added Shcherbak.
He said that he did not want to pretend that he was not celebrating an important event for him and “immigrants from homophobic countries” and turned to Ukrainians with a question.
“Would it be okay to post footage and videos of me and newly minted foreign agent Mikhail Zygar @zygaro exchanging Ukrainian brand @alchemica_jewelry rings and bracelets from Azovstal on our wedding day? I don’t want to hide anymore of anything on my page, just like I don’t want to cause someone to get hurt on their vacation,” Shcherbak asked.
