The wife of the Ukrainian president spoke at the largest European technology conference.
The First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska took part in the Web Summit 2022 in Lisbon, Portugal. The President’s wife said that the current war is undoubtedly a technological war.
The First Lady’s speech opened the conference.
“The mass war that Russia has unleashed against us is, among other things, a war of technologies that the aggressor uses to kill us,” he said.
Zelenskaya called on the summit participants to help life, not murder.

“For example, the field of prosthetics today is also really high technology, and we really need these prostheses for people who have lost their limbs. We need strong cybersecurity, the stability of all digital systems. And we need technologies for recovery, because we have already started to rebuild the country. I believe that the future belongs to technologies that work for and not against life. Otherwise, the whole world will have no future,” concluded of the first lady.
