A dog named Jack, who suffered from an all-out war, has come a long way to meet his new owner.
The famous Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli became the owner of the dog Jack, who was found in Kupyansk, freed from the Russian invaders. This was announced by Kyiv City Council deputy Oles Malyarevich on Facebook.
It was learned that the animal almost lost its hearing due to the explosions and suffered a shrapnel wound on its back.
“Miracles happen even in dark times. The miracle itself happened to a dog named Jack, who lives in the city of Kupyansk, found himself under work, almost lost his hearing as a result of explosions, had a small shrapnel wound in his back, but kept his natural kindness, love of people, strong character and faith at its best,” he wrote.
Malyarevich admitted that he shared the dog’s story with his American friend Amed. She in turn brought the dog food and offered to find a family for Jack.
After that, the dog was taken to a veterinary clinic in Kyiv, where he underwent surgery, and a fragment was removed from the wound on his back. Subsequently, the four-legged was brought to Italy, where Andrea Bocelli became the new owner.
Earlier it was reported that Lesya Nikityuk told her fans the story of a little puppy from the front line.
