The highlight is that the founders deliver orders within Kyiv to their customers personally.
1+1 channel stars Valentina Khamaiko and Vladimir Rabchun, as well as stylist Tanya Boginich, created a fashion brand called taiyo, which means sun in Japanese. The goal is to support the economy of Ukraine and help the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the press service of 1 + 1 reports.
The main mission of the brand is high-quality and comfortable clothing for free and active people, the return of business to Ukraine, an increase in the number of jobs and new reasons to be proud of our own country.
“Only by supporting each other can one survive this difficult time. This principle is an important part of the TAIYŌ brand,” said Hamayko.
“I wanted to be useful, help, pay taxes during the war. As a stylist, I had a desire to work on clothes. I was very happy when Valya and Vova supported me in this,” said Boginich.
“Tanya’s inspiration was passed on to us by Valya. Everything is interesting – from creativity to charity,” added Rabchun.
The brand was launched in three months. According to Hamayko, no one knows what will happen, there is no money. The stars just want to support each other.
“It’s been a huge moment. Our thoughts are now focused on the brand and the work, and so much news has faded into the background,” Hamayko admitted.
At the moment, the brand produces exclusive collections in limited quantities, that is, decreasing. There are both female and male lines. The first collection consisted of tracksuits.
“We are moving in small but confident steps, like Ukraine – towards success,” Khamaiko stressed.
At the same time, orders are coming in from all over the world.
“Poland, Germany, Canada, Israel, Austria, USA, Georgia, Netherlands. They already wear TAIYŌ there. Every month we donate part of the earnings to charity. Now we help the Voice of the Country, with the Turn Back Live “and dobro.ua, to collect the required amount of three million hryvnias for aerial reconnaissance for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Come with us too,” said Rabchun.
