From the beginning of a full-fledged war, the musician became the commander of the static military training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Singer OLEKSA admitted that since the start of a full-scale war, he and his family have been under enemy fire. He revealed this in an interview on the Dom channel.
“On February 21, my daughter was born, this is my second child. And on the 24th, we had to gather the whole family and celebrate her birth. But in the morning we woke up from incredibly strong explosion, because our house is located near the military unit, where the arrivals were,” he said.
After that, the serviceman, together with his relatives, decided to leave for a summer residence in the Kyiv region, friends joined them, and together there were about 20 people. However, after a Russian shell exploded near their house, they had to flee again.
“We only escaped because we were hiding in the basement. The next day we were advised to leave. We got into the cars and left. This decision and that day was fatal for my family. 15 Russian tanks were identified, which our convoy began to be shot at. Imagine, I have a baby in my arms, my wife with an older child is in the back seat, other people… then my mother and aunt were wounded by bullets,” shared the artist.
According to him, my mother lost consciousness from the wound, and my aunt was injured in the spine and lungs. So, everyone had to go back to the dacha.
The only thing that could save them was that their father and brother, who were in Kyiv, were able to send help for them.
“Finally, the specialists helped us, but only the wounded could be taken out. All because of the danger that awaits the Ukrainians at every turn. Only because the wounded have less chance to survive there – they took responsibility for to them and took them. to the hospital. But a few days later, a soldier came back and helped us escape,” OLEKSA summed up.
It was previously reported that the ULTRA singer admitted that in the early days of a full-scale war, he lost his wife and almost died.
