Since the beginning of the mass war in Ukraine, more than 500 cultural monuments have been completely or partially destroyed.
The winners of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 Kalush Orchestra became ambassadors of the Save Ukrainian Culture project. This was reported by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy.
“We, the Kalush Orchestra group, are doing our best to show the whole world that our culture exists! It is alive! It exists! Now they are trying to destroy it. Therefore, we are happy to join the Save Ukrainian project Culture,” said Oleg Psyuk.
At the same time, the musicians urged the disposal of funds for the restoration of buildings and monuments destroyed by the Russian invaders.
The goals of the project are to fix the war crimes of the Russian army against the cultural monuments of Ukraine and to attract patrons, donors and representatives of world governments to the preservation and restoration of the cultural heritage of Ukraine.
Earlier it was reported that the Kalush Orchestra, which together with Sergei Prytula sold the cup for 900 thousand dollars, received a new one.
