Five days before the full invasion of Russia, the musician left for Spain with his wife, Nastya Kamenskikh.
Ukrainian producer, songwriter and singer Oleksiy Potapenko, better known as Potap, admitted that he was on the defensive. He revealed this on the air of TET channel.
According to him, while in Spain, he called his father Andriy Potapenko to discuss his return to Ukraine and service in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“I said: “Dad, I want to go, I want to go to the front, to the front line.” And he said: “Sign up for the defense first,” said the singer.
After that, the artist asked his father to enroll him in one of the divisions.
“That’s how I enrolled in the defense in absentia and decided that I will continue to do my best, to deliver information about Ukraine,” Potap summed up.
It was previously reported that Potap told what message his son Andrei wrote to him in the first days of a massive war.
