The star emphasized that he and his colleague did not speak publicly about their volunteer activities.
The star of the Kvartal 95 studio, Yevgeny Koshevoy, told why he and Alexander Pikalov were awarded the Order of Merit of the III degree by the Ukrainian President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. He expressed his response to the anger of Ukrainians on this matter in an interview with KP in Ukraine.
As you know, the award was given because of their “powerful volunteer activity.” Koshevoy stressed that he and Pikalov have not spoken publicly about their volunteer activities.
“The fact that we do not speak publicly about this volunteer activity is our business. Until now, we have done everything at our own expense, we have not collected donations from other people, so we didn’t even think of reporting to someone. . Someone else advertises his volunteer activities – this is his business. Others have also received orders for it,” he said.
The actor admitted that this was his first high-level award.
“Such orders are not given lightly. Behind every award there must be some kind of life path that you went through and where you received such an award,” he added.
The star also admitted that he tries not to react in anger.
“From the beginning of the general invasion, we received a lot of hate at our address. For example, someone spread a rumor that Pikalov and I fled to Poland on the first day of the war. And this despite the fact that Sasha and I arrived on 24th morning, the channels went live from the studio – to support the people so that they see that we are in Ukraine, like our president, that we are all together in the country,” said the comedian.
Recall that earlier Koshevoy, during a concert for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, pinned the adviser to the head of OP Oleksiy Arestovich.
