A death certificate published by the National Archives of Scotland states that Queen Elizabeth II’s cause of death was old age. This was reported by The Telegraph.
The certificate, signed by her daughter Princess Anne, who was with her for the last 24 hours of her life, also states that Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor died at 3:10 pm on September 8 at the age of 96 at Balmoral Castle .
The time of death in the document means that only King Charles and his sister Anne were at their mother’s side when she died in Aberdeenshire three weeks ago. Evidence proves that some members of his immediate family are still on their way to the castle.
