Hollywood actress Jessica Chastain shows how the female Iranian and Ukrainian defenders perform the song Bella Ciao. He posted the video on Instagram.
“Women from all over the world sing Bello Ciao as they fight for freedom and peace in their homeland. From the streets of Iran to the trenches in Ukraine, their courage echoes in verse,” wrote Chastain.
He also published a translation of battle hit.
Note, he believes that the song Bella Ciao was performed by members of the Italian resistance movement against the Nazi regime. However, the historical accuracy of this fact has not been proven.
