He began pursuing ceramic art after divorcing actress Angelina Jolie in 2017.
Hollywood movie star Brad Pitt made his surprise debut in Finland as a sculptor. He presented his work in an exhibition at the Sarah Hilden Art Museum, APnews wrote.
The event was originally intended to feature an exclusive assortment of works by British artist Thomas Housego, known for his sculptures, but he reportedly persuaded the museum to include Pitt’s work.
“Pitt is already well-known in the field of cinema, but this is the first time he will present his work – works created in an ongoing conversation with Houseago,” the Finnish museum said.
Among the 58-year-old actor’s nine works on display at the exhibition are a house-shaped structure molded from transparent silicone and shot with bullets, and a plaster panel depicting a shooting scene.
“It’s about, you know, where did I go wrong in my relationship? Where did I go wrong? Where was I complicit? It was about what I really call a radical inventory of myself, where I was very, brutally honest with me and… the the attention of people I could hurt, and the moments I just made a mistake,” Pitt commented on the creations.
The exhibition opened on Sunday and will run until January 15, 2023.
It will be remembered that Pitt admitted that he was suffering from prosopagnosia for several years. He cannot recognize the faces of people he knows, which is why many consider him selfish and arrogant.
