Ukrainian TV presenter Lesya Nikityuk helps internally displaced people from cities where active fighting is taking place in the Khmelnytsky volunteer center, and also gave them her home. He spoke about it in an interview with blogger Slava Demin.
According to the star, he detained nearly 60 refugees in his home.
“About 60 people live in the house and about 18 dogs, cats, guinea pigs, etc. Mom doesn’t take that much, and I’m always in a shelter for migrants. We’re constantly loading , loading, unloading something, collecting food, humanitarian aid, we ship. I mean, there’s such a conveyor here, “Lesya noted.
He also added that during a massive war, Khmelnytsky residents helped people as much as possible.
“I’m always insulted in comments:“ What do you say about that Khmelnitsky? stays here. 3,000-5,000 children attend our schools every day. More than 100 temporary shelters for IDPs are in Khmelnytsky alone and many more in the region ”the star said.
