The performer believes that concerts of artists are canceled for “good Ukrainians” like Ani Lorak.
The Ukrainian musician, leader of the group Vopli Vidoplyasov Oleg Skrypka, whose concerts were massively canceled in Germany, explained the reason. He spoke about this in an interview with journalist Alina Dorotyuk.
According to him, the interruption of performances under the pretext that Ukrainians are fascists is due to the concerts of Ani Lorak, who is silent about a full-scale war in Ukraine. The artist believes that the cancellation of his show and the singer’s tour can be written into a scenario.
“I think my concert was banned just for this, to clear the way for Ani Lorak. I think, maybe, the whole thing is in one scenario – here are the “fascists”, and here is Ani Lorak,” he suggested.
The musician also believes that the performances of Ukrainian artists were deliberately interrupted to promote Russian propaganda narratives.
“For the Russians, there are good Ukrainians and bad Ukrainians. This is how they impose on us “good and bad Russians.” This is not our thesis. We don’t care about Russia. Let’s separate ourselves with a concrete wall and let them rot as much as they want. They have good Ukrainians, like, for example, Ani Lorak, and there are Bandera people who need to be destroyed in Izyum, in Bucha and here, in the field of culture, in Hamburg, “said the artist. .
However, the leader of the group Vopli Vidoplyasova stressed that the promised concert still took place, but on a different level.
“We still did this concert, but not at that level. In the state, I’ve been talking about it for 30 years, you have to have your own cultural policy. Our culture is a weapon that is more serious than the Russians in their ballets and operas and pop singers. Moreover, Ani Lorak is a Ukrainian singer,” said Oleg Skrypka.
Earlier it was reported that Ani Lorak, in order to build a career abroad, called herself the most titled Ukrainian singer.
