The store noted that they will keep the sausages with special names for a limited time.
In New Zealand, the famous butcher shop Avon began selling sausages under the name King Charles III. So, the company popularized the monarch’s swollen fingers to commemorate his ascension to the throne. The photos appeared on the store’s Instagram story.
Avon has taken the king’s name for their line of sausages, in reference to recent photos on social media of the king’s fingers being enlarged.
The butcher shop first published a photo of the king, but removed his fingers from the image and jokingly replaced them with real sausages.
“I’m going to hell,” the photo caption said.

As you know, King Charles called his fingers “sausage” in 2012, when he was on tour in Australia.
Note that the current king has been suffering from sore fingers for years. British doctor Gareth Nye explains that inflammation can be caused by many medical conditions, including water retention, arthritis or, more likely, simply old age.
It will be recalled that Charles III officially ascended the throne on September 10 after the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II on September 8.
