Ukrainian singer Olya Polyakova, who recently performed a concert in Ashdod, Israel, described how people supporting the Putin regime tried to disrupt the performance. He announced this on his Instagram page.
In particular, the artist told the story of how a girl from Mariupol gave her a bracelet she had woven in the basement of the drama theater when a Russian missile hit. In turn, the performer dressed him and promised to remove it only after the victory of Ukraine.
“When the Russian invasion happened in Ukraine, of course, everyone was scared. Everyone just lost. There was just a tragedy at the Mariupol Drama Theater. It was Croatia, a charity match, where I sang the Ukrainian anthem. I was approached. by a family that survived at the Mariupol Drama Theater. And the girl in the basement wove this bracelet. I put it on and said I would take it off only when the war was over. Of course, with the victory of Ukraine,” he said from the stage.
When Polyakova told this story, enthusiastic fans of Putin began to boo, but the singer was not defeated and answered them.

Despite this incident, Polyakova’s concert in Israel went well, as the support of the Ukrainians was felt.
