Funds raised by musicians from performances, digital music and partnerships
The Ukrainian group Okean Elzy collected 19,211,330 hryvnias to help the country in the war with the Russian Federation. This was achieved only in the summer of 2022, the team said on Instagram.
The funds are directed in several directions:

physicians

in hospitals in cities relatively close to the war zone and receiving patients from there, especially, children who suffered rocket and other attacks

for the restoration of the cultural heritage of Ukraine.
“After all, the Russian invaders wanted to not only occupy our territories, destroy our cities, villages, industries, destroy fields, and crops with them, but also deliberately save Ukrainians in the future , killing the best of the best, and destroying our heritage from past generations, destroying cultural centers, museums, etc. For the very idea of having at least one Ukrainian thing with deep historical, cultural roots and a prosperous future of our country is unbearable for them and makes them angry. They will never succeed,” OE added.
Recall that Svyatoslav Vakarchuk came under artillery fire at a concert for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
