The Russian singer, leader of the group Time Machine Andrei Makarevich, together with his wife, a journalist from Kyiv, Einat Klein, sold a unique amphora at a charity auction. He and his wife donated funds from the sale of the amphora to the famous Ukrainian poet Alexander Kabanov.
“It was immediately obvious to us that an amphora should be chosen as an art object. Andrey Makarevich painted it with cats in real time, and then we held a quick auction,” Einat wrote.
How much money he got, the journalist did not say. In addition, it is known that Makarevich himself painted it with cats in blue and yellow colors.
“Amphora lived with a wonderful person, and we gave all the money we received for it to Alexander Kabanov, one of the greatest poets of our time, a resident of Kyiv, his parents were in Kherson now,” shared Einat.
Recall that the legend of French cinema Catherine Deneuve expressed solidarity with the Ukrainian people at the annual Venice Film Festival.
