The Kalush Orchestra collected UAH 5 million for the defenders of Mariupol in one day

The Ukrainian group that won the Eurovision 2022 Kalush Orchestra gathered to help the defenders of Mariupol. In just one day, Ukrainians transferred five million hryvnias. The musicians announced it on Facebook.

This amount was collected on Independence Day of Ukraine, August 24th.

“In just one day, we managed to raise 5 million hryvnias, which will be used to rehabilitate the brave defenders of Mariupol. Ukrainians, you are incredible! Thank you to everyone who donated and joined our collection ,” the musicians said.

Recall that the Ukrainian defender from the Azov regiment touchingly sang the winning song at Eurovision 2022 Stefania.
