The winners of Eurovision 2022, the Kalush Orchestra, announced a fundraiser for the rehabilitation of the defenders of Mariupol. The team members announced this on their Instagram page.
It is known that the collection will be opened only for 24 hours on the 31st anniversary of Independence. Ukrainians are also asked to donate only 24 hryvnias.
“Remember, we promised the announcement of a large collection for the Armed Forces of Ukraine? We can open the cards! We announced a large collection for the rehabilitation of the defenders of Mariupol. On August 24, within 24 hours , we will collect 24 hryvnias from every Ukrainian,” the message said.
